Specifications include, but are not limited to: replace roof membranes on selected Berkeley County School buildings; Berkeley Heights Elementary: Section 1: • Remove the existing EPDM and dispose off-site. (Existing insulation will remain); • Attach a minimum of 2.6” of 20 PSI poly iso insulation; • Install sumps around the drains to aid in positive water drainage.; • Install wood blocking around the perimeter to match new insulation heights.; • Fully adhere or mechanically attach new white 60 mil TPO membrane with manufacturer’s flashings and details.; • Install new 24-gauge, Kynar finish, shop fabricated gravel stop around the perimeter.; • Install new aluminum retrofit drains where existing.; • Provide and install new wood supports and protection mat under the gas lines.; Section 2: • Cut the existing EPDM membrane to inspect the existing insulation for moisture or deterioration. Wet or deteriorated insulation will be replaced at the below square foot price.; • Attach a minimum of 2.6” of 20 PSI poly iso insulation; • Install sumps around the drains to aid in positive water drainage.; • Install wood blocking to match new insulation heights.; • Install new batt insulation and backer rod along expansion joints.; • Fully adhere or mechanically attach new white 60 mil TPO membrane with manufacturer’s flashings and details.; • Install new 24-gauge, Kynar finish, shop fabricated gravel stop on the outside edge.; • Install new aluminum retrofit drains where existing.; • Install TPO walk way pads at the roof hatch. ; Section 3: • Remove the existing EPDM and dispose off-site.
