Specifications include, but are not limited to: ° Monitor and track all pertinent legislation that could have an effect on the Board of Registered Nurses including Dialysis Technicians and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses Monitor legislative committee agendas and communicate to the Executive Director/designee.; ° Report findings andbill movement expeditiously within weekly Friday Memos. Schedule conference calls as needed to discuss active and critical legislation. Train Board members onthe legislative process.; ° Report to the Board an overview of the Legislative Session after the session.; ° Assist the Board with public relations and media outreach for messaging associated with changes affecting the practice of nursing.; ° Create a new brand identity for the Board that includes new logo and the development of accompanying collateral materials such as business cards, letterhead, envelopes, notecards and other miscellaneous materials.; °Assist the Board with additional outreach materials such as html emails and or electronic newsletters.; ° Assist the Board with miscellaneous graphic design needs such as postcards, advertisements and advertising specialties
