Specifications include, but are not limited to: Schedule A – Station 6-3: Refinish the stucco at Station 6-3. The stucco has not been painted before and the original red color has faded. The MSB wants the stucco surfaces to be properly prepped and be painted with a colored coating appropriated for a stucco surface. Station 6-3 is located at: 11021 Horizon Drive, Wasilla, AK 99654. ; Schedule B – Station 6-5: Refinish the exteriors of storage buildings on the north side of Station 6-5. The exterior surfaces of the wooden sheds are T1-11 plywood and previously painted the surface need a fair amount of prep. In addition to the wood shelters there are steel container that will need to have all the stickers and decals removed during prep. Use paint colors according to the attached painting schedule. Station 6-5 is located at: Cottonwood Public Safety Building, 680 N Seward Meridian Pkwy, Wasilla, AK 99654.; PAINT: The Contractor will provide superior paint produces manufactured by Sherwin-William or Owner approved equal. Provide manufacturer’s best quality paint in containers that are fully labeled with manufacturer’s complete product information. Provide primer, bonding agents, and finish coats for any one surface by same manufacturer. Do not combine products by different manufacturers on same substrate.; Exterior Siding: Apply a minimum of two coats of Paint by Sherwin Williams (or Owner-approved superior alternative brand product) to the siding per manufacturer’s recommendation and back roll both coats.; PAINTING EXECUTION: After the contractor has prepared the surfaces for painting in accordance with the above outlined process, the contractor shall proceed to paint the areas to meet or exceed the manufacturer’s recommended application specifications. Window frames (frame, trim and sash) and building trim to be painted will have paint applied by brush or roller only. Exterior cedar trim to be stained will have stain applied by brush. The wood siding sprayed areas will be back rolled to assure an even coat (metal surfaces do not need to be back rolled). The contractor shall exercise extreme caution when using airless spraying to ensure surrounding areas and exposed equipment are protected from overspray.; Paint/stain Requirements: 1. The colors provided are not paint type. Stain, paint, enamels will be used as indicated in the SOW. Super Paint equivalent or higher grade may be accepted. WoodScapes Exterior Solid body stain equivalent or higher grade may be accepted.; 2. The Contractor shall provide current product cut sheets, descriptions of paints, stains, thinners, and other materials to be used. Indicate prior to purchasing Paint/Stain top coat where each color is to be applied to avoid mistakes.; 3. Primer raw wood (for painting) and two coats of paint or stain will be applied as a minimum in accordance with manufacturers recommended procedures and these specifications. If there is still bleed through a third coat will be required.
