Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 The City shall be responsible for completing all grading and sub-base material.; 2.2 Contractor shall verify the existing sub-base material is at the desired grade to set forms for concrete. If discrepancies exist contractor shall contact owner and owner will modify sub-base grade as needed.; 2.3 Contractor shall form and pour the proposed basketball courts as shown on the attached plan set. Includes a 6-inch curb around the entire court area except where shown on the plans.; 2.4 All construction shall be per SUDAS specifications unless otherwise noted on the plan set.; 2.5 All concrete shall be poured to meet all applicable 2010 Department of Justice ADA specifications for slope and other applicable items. Failure to meet ADA slopes will be cause for the area out of compliance to be removed and re-poured. A 2-foot level will be used to verify slope compliance for this project.; 2.6 Concrete curb may be poured as a separate curb and gutter (standard 6-inch curb per SUDAS) and the interior concrete then infilled or may be poured in conjunction with the interior surface. All re-bar and jointing shall be per plan no matter how curbing is installed. If separate curb and gutter, re-bar may be tied to rebar dowled into the curb and gutter section.; 2.7 Concrete shall be complete prior to August 26, 2022; 2.8 The City shall be responsible for striping, basketball pole installation, and storm sewer intake. Intake will be installed to finished grade prior to concrete installation. Basketball poles may be installed prior to concrete installation. If the basketball poles have not been installed, contractor shall verify size and location of box out for the poles with the Project Manager.
