Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Occupational Therapist Therapist Requirements State of Delaware License in Occupational Therapy Evidence of criminal background check. Evidence of a favorable Child Protection Registry check. Current Mantoux tuberculin test with a negative or inactive positive result. Experience working with students with mild to severe disabilities. Experience in Delaware public school system(s) preferred. Scope of Work Provide screenings, evaluations and service delivery in collaboration with a team using a transdisciplinary approach. Services include therapy provided in classrooms, community, small group, individual or through consultation. Prepare reports of evaluation and student progress. Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in keeping with the Brandywine School District processes and procedures. Attend IEP meetings to discuss student eligibility, needs and placement. Recommend and adapt supportive equipment Interact with parents as appropriate. Work collaboratively with other members of the school staff Follow guidelines for Cost Recovery. Provide and/or participate in staff development activities including those presented on District scheduled in-service days. 2.
