Specifications include, but are not limited to: XXXV.SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS The Authority is seeking the Engine Repower Kits for its 2013, 2016 and 2019 Gillig Bus Fleets. XXXVI. PURCHASE QUANTITY A. 2013 Engine Kits Purchase fourteen (14) kits with an Option of up to twelve (12) more. B. 2016 Engine Kits Purchase Twenty-four (24) kits with an Option of up to eighteen (18) more. These kits are broken down into two (2) fleets, one fleet for buses 1601 to 1618 and the second fleet for buses 1619 to1642. C. 2019 Engine Kits Purchase Twenty (20) kits with an option of up to thirteen (13) more. XXXVII. REMANUFACTURED ENGINE The Remanufactured Engines shall consist of the following items A. Recon Engines The engine shall be a complete engine with all necessary filters, flywheel housing, Bell housing and remanufactured Air Compressor, hydraulic pump. All brackets, belts, belt tensioners, fuel filters, oil filters and motor mounts shall conform to a 'transit style specification" The engine shall include a 5-year extended coverage directly from the engine manufacturer (no 3rd party insurance plans).
