Specifications include, but are not limited to: o Provide construction services as outlined in the attached Contractor’s Scope of Work, and Contract and Contract Conditions. o Work closely with all design/construction team members, including CEDO and DPW staff, project architects, VEIC, KBS Builders, Up End This, Pallet Shelter and selected site contractor, on all aspects of the construction project. Selected Construction Contractor will start working immediately upon execution of the contract. o Coordinate with Owner’s Team and selected site contractor to bring the project to successful completion with an anticipated opening of September 2022. o Work closely with design/construction teams to identify creative, cost effective and durable solutions to challenges as they arise in the construction of the Shelter Community and related infrastructure and amenities (such as WiFi, solar, community gardens, site security, etc.). o Work with local code officials to provide required information, ensure all applicable state and local codes are being met and required permits are secured. o Comply with City of Burlington’s Women and Construction Trades Ordinance – see attached WACTO information.
