Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Portable XRF lead paint analyzer (or approved equal) that utilizes a 4-watt, 40 kV X-ray tube 2. Must be an approved by EPA/HUD lead paint analyzer that does not require a resource 3. Must NOT contain a radioactive isotope 4. The analyzer must offer published HUD Performance Characteristic Sheets (PCS) at three (3) different action levels of 0.5 mg/cm2 , 0.7 mg/ cm2 and 1.0 mg/ cm2 with no inconclusive ranges and no substrate corrections. 5. The unit must be operable using internal, removable, rechargeable Li-ion batteries. The unit shall operate a minimum of four (4) hours without a battery change. 6. The analyzer shall feature a battery “hot swap” capability whereby provided the new battery is inserted in less than one (1) minute, the unit does not have to be restarted. 7. The operating temperature of the system shall be 10 -130 degrees F. 8. Will include common components list and standard identifying characteristics, room, color, surface type, floor, inspection name, etc. in software. 9. Will include paint testing sheet for calibration.
