The Risk Management Department manages claims arising from such events. Louisville Water Company sometimes experiences unexpected loss or damage to Louisville Water Company Facilities / Properties. The Facility Management and Risk Management Department of Louisville Water Company manages damages arising from such events. Louisville Water Company, Board of Water Works, Facilities Management and Risk Management Department, hereinafter referred to as “LWC” is seeking a Contractor to provide emergency response for damages due to, but not limited to, water, flood, wind, hail, fire, smoke and lightning when events occur. This emergency response includes, but is not limited to the following: A. Extracting water, cleaning and drying structures B. Cleaning, itemizing and photographing of contents C. Estimating structural damage on an Actual Cash Value (ACV) basis D. Photographing structural damage E. The Contractor is required to be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. F. Mitigating, estimating, and photographing: LWC” properties damaged due to an event of unexpected loss. Employees of Louisville Water Company shall receive the same discount should they ever have need to utilize these services of the contractor for work not related to a Louisville Water emergency.
