Specifications include, but are not limited to: Marinette County owns the buildings and grounds of the UW Green Bay Marinette Campus. We are working with campus staff to complete various improvements at the Theater on the Bay. As part of this phase, the following interior renovations will be completed: Concrete patching/pouring and polishing, lighting upgrades, installation of metal pipe railings, patching and painting and floor covering replacement.; LED INTERIOR LIGHTING: A. Comply with NECA 1.; B. Install luminaires level, plumb, and square with ceilings and walls unless otherwise indicated.; C. Install lamps in each luminaire.; D. Supports: 1. Sized and rated for luminaire weight.; 2. Able to maintain luminaire position after cleaning and relamping.; 3. Provide support for luminaire without causing deflection of ceiling or wall.; 4. Luminaire mounting devices shall be capable of supporting a horizontal force of 100 percent of luminaire weight and vertical force of 400 percent of luminaire weight.; E. Flush-Mounted Luminaire Support: 1. Secured to outlet box.; 2. Attached to ceiling structural members at four points equally spaced around circumference of luminaire.; 3. Trim ring flush with finished surface.; F. Wall-Mounted Luminaire Support:; 1. Attached to structural members in walls.; 2. Do not attach luminaires directly to gypsum board. ; PAINTING AND COATING: Apply products in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and as specified or recommended by MPI Manual, using the preparation, products, sheens, textures, and colors as indicated. Provide completed work matching approved samples for color, texture, and coverage.; Remove, refinish, or repaint work not complying with requirements.; Do not apply finishes over dirt, rust, scale, grease, moisture, scuffed surfaces, or other conditions detrimental to formation of a durable coating film; do not apply finishes to surfaces that are not dry.; Use applicators and methods best suited for substrate and type of material being applied and according to manufacturer's instructions.; Brush Application: Use brushes best suited for the type of material applied; use brush of appropriate size for the surface or item being painted; produce results free of visible brush marks.; Roller Application: Use rollers of carpet, velvet back, or high-pile sheep's wool as recommended by manufacturer for material and texture required. Spray application is not permitted.
