Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Assessment of all primary electrical systems.; 2) Assessment of the existing backup generator.; 3) Assessment to existing boiler plant to include piping.; 4) Assessment of mechanical ventilation systems.; 5) The Mechanical Consultant shall take photographs of existing conditions as needed and include photos in final report.; i. All digital photographs shall be taken with a good quality digital camera, cell phone, tablet, and other such digital device.; ii. Digital photographs shall be formatted to achieve a good, clear, and detailed image where the final file size is between 600 KB and 2.0 MB (2000KB).; iii. Photographs shall be in focus, use flash as needed but have little to no flashback in the photo.; 6) Where deficiencies are noted, that will require repairs or replacements, provide at least 2 recommendations (with cost estimates, including mechanical design time if needed) for the repair/replacement. Mechanical design and calculations will not be required for this RFP.; 7) The Mechanical Consultant shall be responsible for providing all equipment required to perform the assessment including but not limited to scissor lifts, ladders, bucket trucks, and other similar equipment and any related OSHA required safety harnesses, hard hats, etc.; i. The Mechanical Consultant shall be required to coordinate scheduling of access to key components with Olbrich Staff in advance of performing assessments. In most cases ladder access or small scissor lift access can happen at anytime. Where larger equipment may be required it is highly recommended to conduct those assessments during off use hours by the public.; ii. A similar RFP for Structural Assessments will be conducted simultaneously to this assessment. Coordination of lift equipment usage is highly recommended.
