Specifications include, but are not limited to: RIDE believes that building a statewide platform will position districts to recruit and hire highquality educators into schools, so that all students can learn and thrive. RIDE is seeking a vendor to build and maintain a statewide hiring and recruitment platform. The vendor will collaborate with RIDE to begin preparing the platform by April 2022 before a statewide rollout in August 2022. The vendor will create resources to support the rollout of the statewide hiring and recruitment platform for RIDE, districts, and school leaders. RIDE will receive proprietary rights to these resources for future use. Examples of potential framing resources include: • Introductory video • Guidance for conducting a needs-based assessment for hiring and recruitment practices within school and district communities • Primer containing relevant Rhode Island data points around school hiring and recruitment, etc. Marketing material to promote RI and its districts The vendor will be responsible for building and maintaining a statewide, web-based hiring and recruitment platform which can be utilized by district and school leaders. The platform will also be built with the intent of existing as a single location for applicants interested in working in Rhode Island. Detailed hiring and recruitment data should be easily accessible for analysis and ongoing progress monitoring by RIDE, districts, and school leaders. The vendor will create a hiring and recruitment platform that grants back-end, statewide data access to RIDE. The vendor will train RIDE on how to access and analyze all data points. Examples of potential data points include: • Analytics related to the use of the platform, clicks on pages, time spent on site etc. • Number of applicants, recruits, and hires by district • Demographics of applicants, recruits, and hires by district • Mobility of applicants, recruits, and hires by district • Qualifications of applicants, recruits, and hires by district • Positions posted by district • Chronological data by applicants, recruits, and hires by district The vendor will also develop resources to guide district- and school-level implementation. Resources will need to be developed for both school leaders managing recruitment and hiring and districts supporting school leaders.
