Specifications include, but are not limited to: A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include a roughly 51,000 square foot Idaho Army National Guard Readiness Center. A specially designed Readiness Center of permanent construction. The Readiness Center includes the following items that are integral to the facility: unheated storage building, controlled waste facility, flammable materials facility, backup generator, rigid pavement & organizational parking. This facility is designed to meet Industry Standards as well as all local, State, and Federal building codes and as per Public Law 90-480. Construction will include all utility services within close proximity to facility, information systems, fire detection and alarm systems, roads, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, parking areas and site improvements. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 50 years in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Code (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance as per ASA(IE&E) Sustainable Design and Development Policy Updated 2017. This project is required to meet LEED Silver Certification. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Antiterrorism measures in accordance with the DoD Minimum Antiterrorism for building standards will also be provided.
