Specifications include, but are not limited to: Develop a County Administrator Position Profile • Develop a strategy and process for carrying out the recruitment of a County Administrator • Conduct a professional search and recruitment effort utilizing local, regional, and national contacts to seek qualified candidates • Coordinate preparation and placement of advertisements in appropriate national publications and outlets to provide maximum exposure of the opportunity and to ensure an open recruitment process • Acknowledge receipt of candidates’ application materials and maintain communication with all candidates throughout the recruitment process • Review and screen candidates for qualifications consistent with the County Administrator Position Profile • Assist the Unified Government in conducting and coordinating all aspects of an interview process • Assist, as requested, with negotiation of an employment agreement with the selected candidate • Provide periodic updates on the process • Conduct a follow-up to the recruitment within the first year
