Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide statewide school based drop-out prevention services to at risk middle school youth. The vendor must provide services to“TANF”or“TANF-like children”(children receiving DSS benefits). The selected vendor willalso provide a community service project for each youth to complete 10 hours of communityservices for the school year. The selected vendor must develop or acquire a curriculum thatcan be taught during the school year for sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth graders. The vendormust establish relationships with different school districts to set up classes to provide•academic remediation/tutoring•career/technical education•case management•contingency management•counseling•mentoring/advocacy•monitoring attendance•parent outreach•youth development•additional services (e.g., childcare center/parenting classes, school-based healthcenter)•Field trips•Teenage pregnancy prevention•College Tours.
