Specifications include, but are not limited to: SPLIT SYSTEMS OVER 5 TONS A. AIR HANDLING / FAN COIL UNIT 1. Cabinet made of zinc coated, heavy gauge steel with weather resistant baked enamel finish 2. Completely insulated with foil faced, cleanable, fire retardant, glass fiber material with captured or sealed edges. 3. Unit access panels must be removable. Blowers, motors, bearings, and belts must be completely accessible. 4. Primary drain pan to be constructed of rugged non-rusting material in compliance with ASHRAE standard 62.1 5. Blowers will be belt drive with centrifugal, double width, forward curved, constructed to prevent transmission of vibration to cabinet. 6. Blower wheel design must meet Fan Efficiency Grade requirements and tested and certified in accordance with the requirements of ANSI/AMCA Standard 205-12. 7. Blower motor will be VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) rated and controlled for two speed operation. B. COILS 1. 3/8-inch copper tube mechanically bonded to aluminum plate fins. a. Note: Micro Channel Coils will not be accepted. 2. Dual circuits will be interlaced. 3. Coils will have a thermostatic expansion valve.
