Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.SnowObs a. SnowObs is a SaaS and the Contractor will provide ITD with an annual subscription to access and will require yearly renewal of license. b. Provide extensive data visualization, reporting and data entry for daily weather observations performed by ITD. c. Provide visualization of weather station data, weather observations and avalanche observations for ITD avalanche forecasters to analyze the avalanche hazard. d. Custom integration and data visualization of ITD owned weather stations data within SnowObs e. Base subscription price has been increased to reflect a new, modern interface with updated features to be released this summer. Upgrades include new dashboards, data visualizations, streamlined mobile interface and offline capability. i. New clients have already been converted over to the new price structure and the Contractor will be bringing current clients up to the new subscription cost. 2.Mountain Weather API a. The Mountain Weather API is a SaaS and the Contractor will provide ITD with an annual subscription to access and will require yearly renewal of license. b. Weather station data will be collected from the ITD satellite service and stored in the Contractors cloud based database. c. Provide real time and historical data access to the weather station data. d. Real time data latency must be less than five (5) minutes following the weather station measurement, barring good communication with the weather station. Latency will increase if ITD owned and operated communications or data loggers do not perform as expected. e. Data must be forwarded to Mesowest http://mesowest.utah.edu and be publicly available. f. A total of six (6) weather stations will be integrated into the Mountain Weather API: i. Banner Summit - Highway 21 ii. Canyon Creek - Highway 21 iii. Fox Trail Ridge - Highway 21 iv. Bald Mountain - Highway 12
