Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this solicitation is for the City of Raleigh, Raleigh Water, to secure professional engineering services for the NRRRF Equalization Basin project. The purpose of this project is to identify additional equalization (EQ) basin requirements to meet the long-term needs for flow and load management at the Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility (NRRRF), evaluate EQ basin configuration alternatives and locations to identify the best-fit alternative, and complete design of the recommended future EQ alternative for implementation. This project will also include considerations for odor management, effective strategies for balancing diurnal vs wetweather flow management needs and incorporating effective influent flow monitoring. In addition to the services described below, the scope of services will also include the following: Preliminary Engineering Services; Geotechnical Evaluation; Subsurface Utility Exploration; Permitting Services (could also require NC Dam Safety approvals); Design Services; Bid Phase Services; Construction Administration Services and inspection; As Built survey and plans.
