Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall produce architectural documentation and written data describing the Eyak River Bridge (COR-00554) and Heney Creek Bridge (COR-00553), which will consist of a modified version of the National Park Service (NPS) Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) Level II documentation standards to include a historical and descriptive narrative of the bridge; original construction plans; and digital photographs, consistent with the NPS Photograph Policy (2013), of the bridge prior to removal. The HAER level photographic documentation shall be prepared by a person(s) who meets the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards in History or Architectural History (48 FR 44738-44739). In lieu of archiving the HAER documentation at the Library of Congress, the Department shall submit final hard copies of the architectural documentation to the Alaska Resources Library and Information Services (ARLIS) and the Alaska State Archives. The Department shall retain one copy and submit a digital copy to the Alaska Heritage Resources Survey (AHRS), maintained by the Office of History and Archaeology. Additionally, the Contractor will need to complete a Determination of Eligibility (DOE) for the Eyak River Bridge and Heney Creek Bridge, which hasn’t been officially evaluated for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
