Specifications include, but are not limited to:University Health’s intent is to engage a highly qualified architectural and engineering firm to work under the direction of University Health’s Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) Department to perform architectural and engineering services to design the replacement of the Air Handling Units (AHU’s) 7, 13 and 17 at University Hospital. The scope of services shall include, but not limited to, the following: 1. Architectural and engineering services to design the replacement of three (3) air handling units located at University Hospital Rio Tower. 2. The units will be replaced with similar units but it will require relocation within the space. 3. Design A&E services for Control Upgrades servicing mechanical systems. 4. Design A&E services will included mechanical, electrical, architectural, architectural, structural and plumbing. 7. Obtain all required permits for this project. 8. Meet all current standards and regulations for HVAC and mechanical systems. 9. Meet all current standards and regulations per Facility Guidelines Institute (“FGI”).
