Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pavement rehabilitation is anticipated to consist of a 2” cold plane, leveling course, and a 2” Superpave wearing course. Geometric layout and profile improvements are not anticipated. Other improvements will include catch basin repairs & grate adjustments, driveway apron repair including curb removal, curb ramp improvements, and durable pavement markings (recessed polyurea for longitudinal lines and Type A tape for symbols and crosswalks). Existing curbing, sidewalk, and median islands are anticipated to remain, unless otherwise noted. Replacement of traffic signal loop detectors at Aspen Drive will not be required, as the signal is currently set to Max recall and new detection equipment will be part of a future project.
