Specifications include, but are not limited to: USNH representing UNH Hampshire is requesting bids for a Quantum Technologies model Q1.1-QLHe20- ID-150 Helium liquefier and supporting equipment. Equivalent/better systems will also be considered. The Owner requires equipment to meet or exceed all specifications as provided. Owner will be the sole determinant as to suitability/acceptability of all submittals. Brochures and detailed specifications must be supplied with submittal. We require a helium capture and liquefier system that meets the following requirements: • Reliquefy, purify, and store up to 1250 L of LHe over the course of 45-50 days or less. • Capture helium during cool-downs with an average daily liquid loss rate of 150-200 L/day and occasional maximum daily liquid loss rates as large as 350 L/day. • Be able to store gaseous helium generated from 1250 L liquid helium until it can be reliquefied, preferably without major loss of operational lab space due to large helium gas recovery bags. • System must fit within existing lab space, which has available floorspace of approximately 12’ wide by 27’ long by 12’ high. In some portions, there is a wire rack reducing maximum height to 8’. The magnet cryostat is approximately 6 feet tall. A roughly 6-foot-long target material holder is inserted vertically from the top. Any helium recovery elements placed directly over the superconducting magnet cryostat must accommodate the target material insert and the existing microwave gantry which is directly above. • System must be able to connect to existing lab equipment helium exhaust ports.
