Athletic trainers must always be licensed. All trainers must be BOC certified by date of hire, North Dakota Licensure (or eligible). Contractor to oversee, supervise and be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the athletic training program as it relates to the prevention, management, rehabilitation, evaluation, and care of injury related situations relating to intercollegiate student-athletes. Maintain communication and documentation with the head coaches, assistant coaches, and strength and conditioning vendor regarding fitness levels, injuries, attendance, or discipline issues. Always maintain confidentiality unless permission of the responsible party. Maintain professional working relationship with all Minot State employees and staff. Introduce staff to the athletic department administration and coaches. Use and maintain equipment owned by MSU Provide practice, home, and away game coverage during championship season for the following sports: Football Wrestling Women’s Wrestling Women’s Soccer Men’s Basketball Women’s Basketball Men’s Hockey Women’s Hockey Volleyball Baseball Softball Assign an ATC as a central point of contact for each team. Provide non-championship practice and game coverage when possible dependent on staff availability. Order inventory following MSU purchasing policies and request work orders with the director of athletics. Always keep the athletic training room equipment and rooms in presentable manner. The equipment returned to designated locations for storage. Athletic training room be accessible for all games, practices, and work outs. Office hours must be published on the door. Prepare yearly budget for supplies and equipment needed for the year when requested by the director of athletics.
