Specifications include, but are not limited to: The South Dakota Department of Human Services’ Division of Long Term Services and Supports is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to complete reviews of provider owned and operated Home and Community Based settings that receive funding through Medicaid to determine the provider’s compliance with the HCBS Settings Final Rule. The vendor will use an assessment tool provided by the Division of Long Term Services and Supports to collect and evaluate evidence of compliance with the HCBS Settings Final Rule for approximately 75 individual provider settings statewide, primarily assisted living centers. Collection and evaluation of evidence may include an onsite assessment to validate the responses and the evidence submitted by the provider. Following the completion of each review, if the providers is not fully compliant, the vendor will write a corrective action plan for areas out of compliance and work with provider to become fully compliant. Once the provider is fully compliant, the vendor will compile all evidence into a comprehensive evidence report of compliance.
