Specifications include, but are not limited to: : Remove, repair, or reinstall signs on an as needed basis within the Fairbanks district at the direction of Department. All materials (Signs, posts, foundations, and hardware) shall meet the applicable material requirement as defined in Section 615 of the 2020 Construction Specifications. Location, orientation, and offset/height shall be in accordance with the applicable standard drawing and/or existing sign installation. Traffic control necessary for sign installation shall be considered subsidiary to other pay items. For message or specialized signs, the Department will provide the contractor with as-builts or sign designs in which the contractor shall utilize for development of shop drawings. Shop drawing will be submitted for review, and approved by the Department prior to fabrication.
