Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. BOLI wage required for repair to building and the add alternate for lighting upgrade B. Small tenant improvement to a portion of the main lobby of the Washington County Law Enforcement Center (LEC) at 215 SW Adams St. in Hillsboro, Oregon. C. The project includes removal of an existing large art installation that extends across the existing ceiling and skylights. D. In addition to the base scope of work, repairing water damage and painting to match will be addressed as an additive alternate in pricing documents. E. In addition to the base scope of work, retrofitting fluorescent can light fixtures in an existing ceiling beam with LEDs is desired but will be addressed as an additive alternate in pricing documents. F. All electrical work associated with this part of the scope is bidder designed. G. All work will be performed after hours starting at 5pm and must be completed by 7am. Access to Courts, Jail Lobby, and Elevator must be maintained during business hours. This includes accommodations for ADA. The Jail Lobby has visitation hours that extend into the evenings and on the weekends. H. The contractor will need to provide a schedule to the County Project Manager for approval prior to starting work. Once work has started it must be completed within three calendar weeks. I. All floor protection is to be provided and maintained by the contractor. Any damage to the existing floors or walls is the responsibility of the contractor to repair. J. Equipment and material can be stored in the center of the lobby during normal business hours if kept compact and orderly and roped off. Six foot walk ways must be maintained around the stored equipment and materials during normal business hours for egress. All lifts and or scaffolding is to be provided by the contractor. The existing scaffolding that is currently in place is merely for employee protection and should not be used for this work. K. All work areas must be cordoned off with cones and danger tape. Public and employee safety is of paramount importance. L. Contractor will be required to pass a background check.
