Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Rochester would like to provide clean, comfortable transit shelter facilities for individuals waiting on transit buses. Year-round shelter cleaning and snow removal are critical to the long-term function of this infrastructure.; Each shelter will require cleaning a minimum of twice per month which will involve: Sweeping or blowing out each shelter; Wiping down of interior and exterior walls, floor/ground, and windows.; Removal of graffiti, stickers, etc.; Emptying or removing trash as necessary.; Occasional removal and cleaning of biohazard materials; Power washing as needed, but not more than once per month, when temperatures will be no lower than 40 degrees Fahrenheit at night.; Successful transit shelter cleaning will require the use of motorized and non-motorized equipment. Power washers, leaf blowers, brooms, and other equipment or methods may be used. Early morning and daytime operations may be needed to clean the shelters.
