Specifications include, but are not limited to: Purchasing Services, on behalf of Facilities Planning and Management (FP&M), invites your firm to submit a plan in response to this Invitation to Submit Plans (ISP). The University shall only consider plans from financially responsible firms presently engaged in the business of recycling as indicated in this ISP. Information submitted by your firm and others will determine which plan will best serve all University requirements. Failure of the successful Submitter to accept any items as a part of a Contract may result in cancellation of the award. The University of Wisconsin-Madison hereinafter referred to as the “University”, through its Purchasing Services Department, hereinafter referred to as “Purchasing” is requesting ISPs for Facilities Planning and Management, hereinafter referred to as “FP&M”, for the engagement of contractual services for the Recycling of Municipal Solid Waste Streams: Single Streams Recycling, Commingled Recycling, Mixed Paper, Sorted Office Paper, Corrugated Cardboard, Books, Glass and Plastic Containers, Aluminum and Steel Containers, Plastic Drums Recycling of Office Paper, Cardboard, Miscellaneous Paper, Books/Magazines, Glass and Plastic Bottles, Aluminum and Steel Cans. The recycling of other paper, plastic bottles, glass and metal products not specifically mentioned in this document are also within the realm of commodities for which this contract will represent. As well as future recycling efforts for the life of this contract. Information submitted by all responding Plan Submitters will be reviewed and used to determine which plan will best serve as University requirements. Failure of the successful Plan Submitter to accept any terms and conditions of the ISP as a part of a Contract may result in cancellation of the award.
