Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, and equipment required to perform soilnailed sloped stabilization of the area shown on the Construction Drawing. Engineering drawings/ design calculations shall be submitted to the City for approval prior to construction. See “Technical Specifications” section below for additional information on soil nailing requirements. See “Geotechnical Report” section below for sub-surface geotechnical investigation of the project area. b. Soil Nails shall be designed with a minimum factor of safety equal to 1.5. c. Adequate traffic control must be in place at all times to allow vehicular traffic to travel City View Drive. City View Drive is a dead end with approximate 15 residences, thus one lane of traffic must be maintained throughout the project
