Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Authority requires an on-call contractor to perform maintenance and emergency commercial roof repairs on the Authority’s facilities. The selected Contractor will enter into a Contract for on-call roof maintenance and repair services on an as-needed basis. The work shall include the furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, and services required to make the necessary repairs. Along with making repairs to roofs, the Contractor shall be required to demolish and remove existing roof materials and dispose of all waste materials. When a roofing issue arises, the Authority shall notify the Contractor of the need for maintenance and/or emergency repair at a particular facility. The Contractor shall visit the specified site to examine the scope of work required at the time specified by the Authority’s Maintenance Division. The Contractor shall submit a written estimate (Email is acceptable) specifying the labor and materials required to repair the damaged area(s) to “as new” condition. Copies of manufacturer’s warranties should be provided after projects are completed whenever applicable. Repairs shall be billed at an agreed upon rate. The Authority will issue a Purchase Order for individual repair jobs based on the agreed upon rate. The Authority, in its sole discretion, may on one or more occasions reevaluate and make any necessary changes to the selection process described in this paragraph.
