Specifications include, but are not limited to: The U.S Environmental Protection Agency New England Region 1 & New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services requires that effluent water samples be collected at six State Fish Hatcheries as part of NPDES Permit requirements, and there will be regular quarterly, monthly, seasonal and/or weekly sampling required1) Total suspended solids (TSS) in mg/L using SM2540D reporting limit 2.0 mg/L1) Total suspended solids (TSS) in mg/L using SM2540D reporting limit 2.0 mg/L; perform analysis of water samples for the following: 1) Total suspended solids (TSS) in mg/L using SM2540D reporting limit 2.0 mg/L; 2) Five day biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) in mg/L using SM5210B reporting limit 3 mg/L; 3) Total Phosphorus as phosphorus (TP as P) in mg/L using EPA 365.1 reporting limit 0.01 mg/L; 4) Ortho Phosphate as phosphorus (Ortho Phosphate-P) in mg/L using EPA 365.1 reporting limit 0.01 mg/L; 5) Total Ammonia as N using SM 4500NH3D or sufficiently sensitive approved methods listed in 40 CFR Part 136
