Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1.1Utilize direct service providers from a recognized job development, job coach trainingprogramsuchasIA-APSE(AssociationofPersonsSupportingEmploymentFirst),DirectCourse, and/or ACRE (Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators) trainingwith a focus on customized employment who are also certified by a nationally recognizedASL translator training program to provide the employment support service.4.1.2Provide employment support services in ASL for a job candidate who communicates in ASLand in verbal English with partnering agencies and business and/or industry as appropriate.4.1.3Share written report of outcomes and recommendations with IVRS counselor and jobcandidate.4.1.4Address barriers that interfere or prevent vocational success in achieving placement in jobcandidate’sdesiredoccupation.
