Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Siemens Simcenter Testlab Control App and SCADAS hardware. This equipment shall be used in data collection and analysis used for teaching NVH and Automotive testing classes, research, and general automotive testing in the labs. The hardware and software system we currently use in our lab is Siemens. The hardware is out of date and unable to properly work with the newest software that is to be updated. For the lab to be able to continue to utilize this system, new hardware/software must be purchased. The items needing to be purchased are part of a complete system that is only sold by Siemens Industry Software Inc, and must be purchased directly from Siemens and cannot be purchased through any other reseller or distributor. For these reasons, it is believe this is a sole-source procurement.
