Specifications include, but are not limited to: Providing an intervention to an older individual based upon the principles of State approved Evidence-Based Disease Intervention (EBI) programming: • Contractor must deliver either in-person and/or virtual health workshops, as required by the curriculum, in the Area Agency on Aging’s (AAA) 12-county region • Workshops delivered must be approved by the AAA and on the National Council of Aging (NCOA) top tier EBP list https://www.ncoa.org/wp-content/uploads/Title-IIID-Highest-Tier-EBPs-January2019.pdf • Contractor must be trained and certified to lead workshops • Contractor is responsible for their own training costs and/or staff • Contractor is responsible to have two trained leaders to lead workshops as required by the curriculums • Contractor is responsible for its own transportation Activities and expenditures directly related to an evidence-based intervention training include: • Training services and materials • Training of contractor staff and volunteers to effectively conduct EBI groups/sessions/classes • Publicity related to evidence-based intervention events and classes • Securing training site related to specific evidence-based intervention events • Contractor staff time, travel and materials related to conducting evidence-based intervention events to older individuals. • Printing/copying disease-specific preventive and educational materials for distribution to older individuals participating in events, and • Other specific expenses which are required to ensure program fidelity
