Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 Phase 1 – July through September 2022 a) Weekly meetings with core City team b) Site plan and community outreach for Sinclair Park • Community Outreach (2 to 4 events) o Neighborhood outreach (residents, neighborhood association, food and community stakeholders) o Outreach to existing gardeners at existing City community gardens • Site Plan o Space and costs for core and additional features (2.2b below) o Plan ready for end-of-year construction by September 1 2.2 Phase 2 – October 2022 through March 2023 a) Weekly meetings with core City team b) Evaluation of other City Parks for Community Gardens (develop ranking system, create list of gardens for plan) and site plans • Location (proximity to socially vulnerable neighborhoods and low-income housing such as rentals and mobile home units are priorities) • Space availability • Features and costs o Core features: Garden plots (should be 15-30 per site, roughly 10’ x 15’), soil testing, water access, ADA access o Additional features: Tool locker, fencing, tables, compost, and other amenities as identified.
