Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Mold Abatement Company would be capable of mitigating various water damage scenarios caused by natural events, such as hurricanes or floods, as well as facility issues caused by fire suppression system, bathroom sewage, or other water intrusion means. The company would be able to respond to small- and large-scale mold abatement projects, as well as water damage to prevent the growth of mold. An example of size would be having the expertise and resources readily available to manage small (100 sq feet room) and large (20,000 sq feet or more) locations across our properties. The company would be able to provide emergency mold response and manage the removal of mold infested construction material. Examples of locations on campus would be (IT closets, Electrical closets, walk in refrigerators, basements, bathrooms, conference rooms, dorms, library.) As a plus, company will possess restoration and reconstruction capabilities for the university to rebound and recover quickly after an event. The university is also interested in additional services related to emergency events and recovery services: fire/smoke restoration, biohazard service response for bloodborne pathogens, crime scene scenario response clean-up, other health hazards that may require sterilization and decontamination services. A list of example services the company performs: o Water damage restoration and extraction o Biohazards associated with disaster events o Biohazard response is a plus (crime scene, pathogens, etc.) * o Fire and smoke damage response o Cleaning services, disinfecting, and sterilization as related to Biohazard, mold, pathogens, etc. o Drying and Dehumidification o HVAC Decontamination o Reconstruction capabilities is a plus. * o Preservation methodology for books and paper products is a plus*
