Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide to coordinate and promote activities for Child Abuse Prevention Month which occurs in Aprilevery year. The contractor will be responsible for the organization, planning and facilitation of a statewidecampaign for April’s child abuse prevention month. The contractor will build on existing collaborative efforts,work with the Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention (CBCAP) lead agency (the Office of Children’s Services),the Alaska Prevent Child abuse America lead (the Alaska Children’s Trust) and engage other agencies whopromote family strengthening goals. Through the organized prevention activities, the contractor will promoteincreased awareness of child abuse and neglect to impact positive change.
