Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide new Bitzer Scroll Compressor for Circuit # 2. Compressor comes with 1-year warranty.; • Recover R-410a refrigerant in system 2, approximately 73 lbs. Dispose of in accordance with regulations.; • Dispose of damaged compressor in accordance with regulations.; • Remove oil from all three compressors for system 2, acid test oil.; • Disconnect electrical wiring and refrigerant piping for failed compressor.; • Remove and replace existing liquid line filter cores with high acid cores.; • Provide (1) set of high acid liquid line filter cores.; • Provide (1) set of standard liquid line filter cores.; • Remove failed compressor and set new compressor with new compressor in place.; • Megohm the 2 existing compressors on circuit # 2.; • Refill all three compressors with new oil.; • Reattach refrigerant piping and electrical wiring.; • Provide new fuses for new compressor.; • Evacuate system thoroughly to hold below 500 microns.; • Pressurize system with nitrogen (200 psi): pressure test system for 1 hour to verify system is leak tight.; • Charge system with new R-410a refrigerant, approx. 73 lbs.; • Megohm all 3 compressors to verify winding integrity is intact.; • Start-up chiller and record system operating data as if system 2 was being started up for the first time; referring to York Installation checklist form 150.72-CL1.; • Operate system for 2 days before returning to replace high acid cores with standard cores. Recharge system as needed.; • Verify compressor replacement is complete and chiller is back operating properly.; • Work to be done during regular business hours.
