Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Removal and disposal of isolated trees and stumps and boulders. 2. Clearing and grubbing. 3. Earthwork including sediment forebay, sand filter excavation, excavation of unsuitable soils, placement of fill and grading. 4. Protection of sand filters from equipment. 5. Compliance with the Soil Erosion and Sediment Control (SESC) plan requirements. 6. Channel excavation for installation of new grass swales. 7. Installation of erosion controls including removal at the end of the project. 8. Installation of drainage pipe, outlet control structure and end sections. 9. Saw cutting of bituminous pavement. 10. Rehabilitation of an existing asphalt pavement structure into a processed asphalt stabilized base (recycled) course including installation of calcium chloride. 11. Trimming and fine grading. 12. Installation of new bituminous pavement. 13. Installation of new washed peastone gravel diaphragm. 14. Installation of rip rap stone, bedding filter fabric and precast concrete curb 15. Installation of screened loam, seed and erosion control blanket (mat). 16. Traffic protection. 17. Installation of pavement markings. 18. Other miscellaneous tasks as referenced on the Plans and in this Project Manual.
