Specifications include, but are not limited to: x Remove and dispose of existing metal trim, gutters, downspouts, fiberglass panels, roof metal, and insulation.; x Roof type shall be gable, match existing roof pitch and slope from the center ridge line equally to both sides.; x Roof basis of design All Weather Insulated Panels Standing Seam SR2: - 5” panel thickness; - 40” panel width; - Exterior standing seam 26ga or heavier; - Interior metal 26ga or heavier; - R41 minimum; - Concealed fastening per manufacturer’s recommendations; - Exterior and interior panel color to be white, Silicone Modified Polyester TwoCoat System paint finish; - Inside and outside ridge cap, color to be white; - Request for substitutions will be considered; x Use two part closed cell foam insulation to seal void between panels at ridge and around any other penetrations through the roof.; x Provide and install commercial grade gutters on both eaves with downspouts to pavement and drain pipe caps, compatible with IMP roof system: - 24ga or heavier; - Color to match existing exterior; - Downspout locations shall match existing, square to round adapters into existing 4” drain pipes ; x Provide and install custom gable trim and side wall flashing, color to match existing siding.; - At north end of building, contractor shall ensure gable trim extends down enough to cover gap between the new roof and existing metal siding.; x Adjust existing roof vents to new roof elevation.; x Provide and install necessary roof jacks and flashing at roof penetrations that remain.; x Field verify all dimensions prior to ordering material.; x Prepare IMPs onsite; provide extra precautions to ensure IMPs are not damaged during prepping, flying, or setting.; x Verify all material onsite prior to any demolition.; x Verify weather conditions will hold throughout IMP installation or have plan in place to temporarily dry-in any areas that have been torn off.
