Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary, and have the functional capacity to perform approximately 100 oil and filter changes per month, without prior notice or appointment. The Milwaukee Police Department reserves the right to make multiple awards based on operational needs and geographic location of bidder’s facilities.; 1 OIL CHANGE – FULL SYNTHETIC UP TO SIX (6) QUARTS, QTY 1,200; 2 EXTRA OIL – FULL SYNTHETIC, PER QUART, QTY 1,000; 3 WIPER BLADE REPLACEMENT, QTY 1,000; 4 HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT, QTY 500; 5 AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT, QTY 500; Drain the vehicle’s oil and remove the oil filter. This includes the removal and reinstallation of any installed skid plates or protective shields, as required. Any oil spillage must be thoroughly cleaned.; Install a new oil filter and refill the engine with the required amount of new oil.; Lubricate the chassis, door hinges and hood latch, as required.; Check transmission fluid level and fill to the required level.; Check and fill the differential fluid. This check requires all differentials, transfer cases, or viscous couplings to be serviced.; Check brake fluid level and fill as necessary.; Check and fill power steering fluid.; Check and fill the radiator overflow reservoir.; Check windshield wiper blades, fill window washer reservoir, verify washers are functional. Wiper blades are only to be replaced at the direction of the Police Department representative.; Check the battery, load test, clean and tighten terminals as required.; Check air filter. Air filters are only to be replaced at the direction of the Police Department representative.; Check the tires, inflate to specified pressure, inspect for unusual wear. Record the condition and tread depth of all 4 tires.; Inspect the brakes for wear, using generally accepted industry standards.; Inspect the vehicle body and glass for damage.; Check the operation of all lights, turn signals headlights, brake side marker, parking lights and the horn. Replace items that need replacing at the direction of the Police Department representative.; Check the undercarriage of the vehicle for obvious damage, leaks, etc. This shall include the shock absorbers and exhaust system.; Items found to be faulty during the inspection process, the contractor is required to provide the Milwaukee Police Department representative with a written report identifying the specific deficiencies.
