Specifications include, but are not limited to: Specific responsibilities include 1. Collaborate with the other SSIP Instructional Coaches and AOE staff to develop and deliver three professional learning sessions aligned to addressing the Vermont’s State Systemic Improvement Plan’s (SSIP) State Identified Measurable Result (SiMR). Each Session will include creating change ideas. Three sessions each year to be Fall 2022 and 2023, Winter 2023 and 2024, and Spring 2023 and 2024. 2. Participate in at least one-full day or two half-day implementation development opportunities, in the Fall of 2022 and 2023 provided by the AOE, to review the requirements and expectations of the coaching position. 3. Meet at least once monthly with assigned Systems Coach supporting assigned school. 4. Attend SSIP Transformation Team meetings, some may be in person (every 3 weeks). 5. Provide up to 25 hours monthly of instructional coaching to SSIP site teachers, in-person (or if necessary, virtually), up to five schools. 6. Ensure that deliverables, both online and print, are: i. Formatted to be accessible and follow regulations of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (508). ii. Formatted according to the State of Vermont branding standards. iii. Editable for future anticipated changes iv. Submitted to the AOE prior to dissemination. 7. Submit any handouts/presentation materials to the SSIP Coordinator for review prior to each Networking Session to ensure alignment with AOE messaging. 8. Issue and collect participant evaluations for all professional learning sessions. 9. Provide information and practice data after each coaching visit, as outlined by the coaching log provided by the Agency of Education, to be reviewed monthly. 10. Respond to Agency of Education requests for information within 48 hours. 11. Provide practice data using the VT Math Practices Fidelity Tool through observing teachers’ instructional practices at least 3 times /year. 12. Complete a coaching log for every visit. Log to be provided by the Agency.
