Specifications include, but are not limited to: removal and replacement of existing expansion joint sealant at the exterior of all doors, windows, expansion joints, and CMU wall penetrations around the exterior of building. Scope of work includes all administrative work as outlined in the Division 01 General Requirements and the following using materials noted on Drawings and Specifications: Selective demolition of existing joint sealant at all doors, windows, CMU wall penetrations, and expansion joints. Install new joint Sealants at all doors, windows, CMU wall penetrations, and expansion joints. Perform all work required to complete the joint preparation, joint packing, priming, caulking, and sealing indicated by the Contract Documents and furnish all supplementary items necessary to completely seal the joints in the facade using approved sealant techniques, with weeps or vents as required, in the curtain wall, fixed windows, doors, CMU wall penetrations and joints between these systems and the surrounding conditions. This work will include joints in visual and performance mockup specimens. Manufacturer pull tests to be conducted at random locations for the duration of the project.
