Specifications include, but are not limited to: Weslaco ISD seeks the qualifications from companies for the HVAC Improvements Projects District-Wide. This project includes but is not limited to: the replacement of controls, HVAC DX package RTUs, split HVAC systems, water cooled chillers and chilled water air handlers, chilled water piping insulation, ductwork, the conversion of constant volume to VAV systems, and VRF system(s), CO2 and humidity control. The overall project must meet ESSER funding requirements which include the improvement of fresh air intake to the areas affected by the project.; If selected to participate in Part II of this Design Build Project, you will be asked to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) package that will provide more details and minimum requirements for this project which includes but is not limited to the cost of the project. Per ESSER funding requirement, the contract for the project must include a fixed cost. The Weslaco Independent School District facilities will be available for surveys/assessments as of Tuesday, May 31, 2022, to determine project cost. Furthermore, a timeline will be required per location.
