Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design, permitting and construction of a new fire alarm system to replace the existing fire alarmsystem.•Close coordinate phasing of the lighting and controls replacement with the Owner. Contractor shallwork with and provide Owner adequate notice to allow for areas of the parking garage to be clearedof vehicles (the process of removing vehicles can take 2 to 3 weeks). The parking garage mustremain in operation and only a portion of the garage can be blocked off at a time to allow for theareatobeclearofcustomervehiclescreatingclearspaceforContractor’swork.•Maintaining the existing fire alarm system in operation during the replacement construction project.The two fire alarm systems (existing and new) will have to be in operation simultaneously duringthe replacement project, as the completed areas of new system are brought online and operationaland the existing system is disconnected and removed from that area.•Provide a new addressable fire alarm system control panel in the Level 1 Electrical Room alongwith all necessary power supplies and equipment.•Provide fire alarm manual pullstations throughout the building, as required by Code, minimum,with weather covers where located in unconditioned spaces.•Provide smoke detection in elevator lobbies and machine room and in the Electrical Room at thefire alarm system control equipment.
