Specifications include, but are not limited to: UNH owns two (2) 1.6 MW electric generators in Rochester, NH that provide power to UNH’s gas processing plant. The generators are producing power 24 hours per day, except for planned and unplanned shutdowns. For the processing plant’s incremental power needs or when the generators have been shut down, UNH has imported its requirements; supplied by a 3rd party supplier or Eversource. During the initial supply period, UNH may purchase up to 2,400 KW per hour from the awarded supplier with the exception of the Summer Daily Peak Hours determined by the ISO New England. The generators are registered demand assets and as such are participating in the Forward Capacity Market (“FCM”). One of the generators is required to run from 1pm to 6pm during summer months of June through September. It is expected that UNH will import power similar to 2020 levels during the supply period. Attachment 1 – Interval Data contains the historical imports since January 1, 2020.
