Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Non- frost susceptible (NFS) select material.; b. Non-plastic as determined by AASHTO T90.; c. Select gravel shall be alluvial material.; d. Select gravel grading type shall be determined by AASHTO T-27/T-11.; e. Material shall contain no muck, frozen material, roots, sod, or deleterious matter.; f. Material testing will consist of two (2) samples provided by awarded Bidder prior to hauling material, at their expense. Test results must show compliance with requirements below. Any subsequent testing will be at the City’s expense.; g. Delivery of all sanding material must be completed prior to August 10, 2021.; h. Grading Requirements for select gravel are listed below.
