Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will provide design, permitting, and installation of electrical work. Design and permitting will be performed by a Licensed Master Electrician. Work shall be performed under the supervision of a Licensed Master Electrician. Work is likely to occur at any of the 12 Vermont State Parks and other State properties located in the Northwest region of the State. This includes Lake Carmi, Underhill, Kill Kare, Burton Island, Knight Island, Alburgh Dunes, North Hero, Knight Point, Grand Isle, Niquette Bay, Sand Bar, and Underhill State Parks. Examples of potential work to be performed (but not limited to): Underground electrical service replacement 100-200 Amp 1- phase Load Center replacement 100-200 Amp 1-phase Rewire public restrooms, lodging units, residences, garages, maintenance buildings to be code compliant CO & Smoke detector installation and annual inspection for Park Housing, as well as rental cottages Troubleshoot and repair single phase service equipment, pumps and controls Install water and waste-water pump controls, 1-5hp simplex and duplex systems Troubleshoot and repair solar equipment, pumps and controls For Each Assigned Project the contractor shall: • Meet with assigned FPR staff to determine scope, desired result, deadlines, schedules and lines of communication for the project. • Inspect project location if necessary. • Submit proposed scope of work to include labor and materials for the project as understood by the Contractor for review by the Parks Regional Facility Manager. • Install work in accordance with NEC, NFPA, and all applicable National, State, and Local Codes, and applicable product listings. • Coordinate and acquire required utility company and Vermont Division of Fire Safety permits; administrate and attend inspections.
