Specifications include, but are not limited to: Engineering firms (Consultants) for engineering services for a scoping study of a pedestrian path linking Putney Landing apartments to the existing sidewalk system in the Town of Putney, VT. The Municipality is seeking a Consultant with expertise in designing, engineering and permitting. The purpose of the scoping study is to evaluate feasibility, design alternatives and costs for a pedestrian walkway from the existing Putney Landing Apartments to the Putney Village sidewalk system. The project will include schematic walkway location, investigation of any easements that may be required, and estimated project cost and construction timeframe. Preliminary path location could be in the right-of-way of Putney Landing Road (access to I-91N on-ramp) and require a crossing of US RT 5 (Main Street) to the existing sidewalk at Carol Brown Way and US RT 5 (see attached site map).
