Specifications include, but are not limited to: A Locked Browser software/solution. The NDUS is soliciting proposals for browser locking software/solution that integrates with our Blackboard LMS. The solution must allow students access to the NDUS Blackboard Learn environment, then give students the ability to access a quiz or test. Cheating is deterred by ensuring the student is “locked” into the testing environment without access to additional unapproved materials or text. This solution will be used by NDUS and its 11 institutions to assist instructors in their efforts to eliminate student cheating during testing. The solution should be able to restrict student access to other internet sites and limit the ability to navigate within their computer during the testing process. Instructors should be able to deploy the browser locking on a test-by-test basis. Students should be able to use the solution on/off campus as well as in computer lab environments. This RFP is for a browser locking solution only.
